PUPIL
Directed by Bryan Singer Basic plot outline: Todd, an up and coming top graduate, discovers an old Nazi War Criminal living in his town. His morbid curiousity entices him to blackmail the Nazi to tell him more about the war. A strange cat and mouse friendship develops, with disturbing results. Review: This is an extremely well constructed film, from the man who bought us "The Usual Suspects". There are some great cinematographic moments, and the acting is a strong point too. Very few films "freak" me out... but this one had some intrinsically creepy and unforgettable scenes. |
